PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
A two-storey detached dwelling on this property was destroyed by fire and the Owners
want to construct a new one-storey detached dwelling with a covered stoop, screened
porch an attached one-storey garage, which occupy a slightly larger footprint than the
previous dwelling, as shown on plans filed with the Committee.
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for a Minor
Variance from the Zoning By-law to permit an increase in lot coverage to 18.9%
whereas the By-law permits a maximum lot coverage of 15%.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
